SP-BC14 14 gun Baltimore Clipper
Baltimore clippers had their evolution in blockade runners and privateers of the American Revolution. They were built at Fells Point Maryland, a suburb of Baltimore. The Baltimore clippers are noted for their rakish masts and sleek hulls. The British eventually captured some and studied their lines. One reason suggested for the attack on Fort Mchenry during the War of 1812 was that it guarded Baltimore where these annoyances to British pride were built. The hull for this ship is about twelve by three and a half inches. This kit MSRPs for $100
A basic privateer version, the Comet

SPQ-BR12 Sailpower 12 gun Quarterdeck Brig of War Kit
The 12-gun brig is inspired by Colonial/Revolutionary/Napoleonic era warships such as the Fair American, and by the Lady Washington, a replica you might recognize (repainted and dressed) as the HMS Interceptor from the movie Pirates of the Caribbean. It sports a well-built hull with lots of survivability. Four of her cannons are below deck for extra protection. This vessel is well suited to be the flagship of a flotilla of smaller warships, or as a tender to a larger frigate. The hull for this ship is about eleven by three inches. This Kit MSRPs for $85.

Here is a slightly modded version we call HMS Huntress. We added some swivel cannons to the qaurter deck as well as switched the cannons out for heavy carronades.

Of course we could not resist making the fastest ship in the Carribean by adding 2 swivels and 4 cannon. We give you our take on HMS Interceptor

SP-BK Bomb Ketch
Bomb ships are not really designed to engage other ships, but to attack shore targets. However we wanted to make sure that the ship can defend against other ships well, so we chose the heavy carronade scheme for the defensive guns. Anchor this bomb ketch in a protected area behind your fleet and commence bombardment! This kit MSRPs for $70
Basic build up of a pair of kits by Brian McCabe

SP-CU12 Twelve Gun Cutter
Inspired by the English naval cutters such as HMS Alert. This vessel was used for small missions, for customs enforcement, as a dispatch vessel and other such tasks. The real HMS Alert managed to beat the 16 gun US brig Lexington during the American Revolution! This vessel is fast and well armed for its size and is a good addition to any fleet! The hull for this ship is about ten by three inches. This kit MSRPs for $75
Basic build ups of the kit by Brian McCabe and Brian Carnes. The black cap rail version is HMS Hawke the one with the blue rail and the custom added small boats, rail guns and sweeps rack is HMS Alert

SP-PP1 Pirate Pinnace AND SP-PP1-3 Pirate Pinnace FLEET (3 kits in one at lower price point)
Inspired by the shallow drafted small gunboats used by smugglers and pirates. This small ship sports a swivel mounted cannon on the front. Run them in small groups, get close and board! The hull for this ship is about five by one and a half inches. Pictured: Three basic build ups of the kit and one custom build by Game designer Brian Carnes.
