On Saturday, the Sea Dog Games Studio crew went up north to Cleveland Tall Ships. We had a bit of a late start, and some problems finding parking, so it was nearly noon by the time we got there. Several members of our group had signed up to take a short cruise on the Lynx, but they were able to get checked in before their ship left.
While they were on their trip, the rest of our group explored the other ships their, including the Unicorn, the Roald Amundsen, the Niagara, the Pride of Baltimore II, and the Bounty.

The first ship I went on was the Unicorn. It was made from the metal of old German submarines, and boasts the only all-female sailing crew in the world. After that, I visited the Roald Amundsen. Both ships were very interesting, and the lines to go aboard were short.

Later on, I checked out the US Brig Niagara, which was built in 1988 as a reconstruction of Perry’s warship from the Battle of Lake Erie in 1813.

In Part Two of this report, I will talk about my experiences on my two favorite ships of the show: the Pride of Baltimore II and the Bounty.
