Sneak Peek: AC4 Beast “Ringmaster”

Posted in Creative outlet, Gallery, Tech Commander, Under development on August 22nd, 2010 by Captain Arrg – Be the first to comment

This is an AC4 unit with a speed of 16 and standard Prometheus missile pack. The Prometheus missiles can be fired in artillery mode (watch for details later!)

Yes there is a top center mount weapon point! This guy is interesting because there are a lot of load options, but not all of them physically fit!  If you want to see other variants check out the development rides gallery on Facebook!

Speed 16 with jump jets

Standard Avengers, reductive armor and wild weasel system

SPECIAL ABILITY: Mobile LZ designator: This unit may as a free move laser designate any spot with a clear line of site to this unit as a spawn for unit being brought in to reinforce this unit.

This design uses a hand sculpted cockpit from the Sparrow AC3 by Cassandra Angel as well as an all new leg design!

12AM paint job courtesy of unit designer Brian Carnes whoi looks forward to the far prettier units that will be painted in the future by his players!

I originally was shooting for a AC3 with this, but she came out a little beefier then expected!

Thanks for checking her out! Good Night!

The crowd waiting to get into Cleveland Tall Ships

The crowd waiting to get into Cleveland Tall Ships

On Saturday, the Sea Dog Games Studio crew went up north to Cleveland Tall Ships. We had a bit of a late start, and some problems finding parking, so it was nearly noon by the time we got there. Several members of our group had signed up to take a short cruise on the Lynx, but they were able to get checked in before their ship left.

15 MM Cog!

Check out the Cog! This is 15MM and will be released w/ a set of cog exclusive Sailpower rules! What is a cog? Well before there were cannons, this was a common sight. This is the original medieval warship! They have high castles in the front and back to hold archers and spear men. in many cases the castles were lined with painted shields for appearance, and for extra protection.

Pigeonhawk MSV

Posted in Creative outlet, Gallery, Tech Commander, Under development on March 19th, 2010 by Captain Arrg – 2 Comments

The Pigeonhawk is an AC3 design with the ever popular pigeon missile launcher . . . it is an experiment in creating a smaller unit similar to the Gladiator that might be viable to sell as a pair in a starter set.

A new AC5 MSV!

Edit note: This MSV has been renamed from it’s early dev name. Originally this was to be a sister class to the AC6 Paladin, thus was named Templar to maintain continuity of design. When this design was changed to a more aggressive AC5 form it begged for something more reflective of it’s new self! I hope you enjoy the change!

Colonel Neher's Warlord!

Brian,
while I was waiting for the last section of French to dry, (Ed. NOTE : Paul has traded some painting services for an MSV!) I finished up my rig …
Note the addition of visible jump jets, the hyperscanner, the wild weasel jammer … Also the cockpit marking and rescue and danger labels.
I think she turned out pretty sweet, and will be fun to test her at origins.

hope you like it!
Paul
